In recent episodes we've discussed what can be done to help improve the initial experience for new Second Life residents. What kind of support is needed? What kind of places should they start at? What kind of training should be offered? In this episode we take a look at what one community – the Second Life Japanese community – is doing to help Japanese-speakers find their way in the virtual world of Second Life. There is very little Japanese language support provided by Linden Lab, so several Japanese organisations have sprung up to help. We talk to some of them and visit some of the Japanese regions where these support services are available. And we talk to a Japanese Second Life TV presenter and catch a glimpse of some of their programming.
